Advance Funds
To access the Advance Funds page, click the Transfer Funds tab at the top of any online banking page followed by the Advance Funds navigation link. You may request any of the following advance fund options on this page to set up a cash advance of funds from one of your loan or credit card accounts to another of your accounts.
-
One Time Immediately – Transfers a cash advance from one of your loan/credit accounts to another of your accounts immediately.
-
One Time in the Future – Sets up an advance of funds between two of your accounts at a specified future date.
-
Recurring – Sets up an advance of funds between two of your accounts beginning on a start date to repeat at a defined interval (or “frequency”) either for a specified period of time or until you delete the fund transfer request.

When you set up an advance of funds, you can view the available balance for all accounts listed in both the From Account and To Account fields; however, if an account has a negative balance, the account will not appear in the From Account field. Each negative balance in the To Account field displays in parentheses, for example, (272.64).

Cash advances for the current day process immediately. The cutoff time set by your financial institution determines when an immediate transfer will be posted on the business day following nightly processing.

The following transfer frequencies may be requested for a recurring cash advance or advance of funds:
-
Weekly – Every week. Each recurrence of an advance is scheduled one week after the previous advance.
-
Bi-Weekly – Every two weeks. Each advance is scheduled once every two weeks. For example, if the first advance is set up for 12/15/2020, the next advance occurs two weeks later on 12/29/2020.
-
Twice Per Month – Twice per month. This frequency typically schedules two advances per month, each 15 days apart. However, there are some exceptions to this pattern depending on the number of days in the month and the date of the first advance.
The following examples illustrate how this frequency works. In this first example, the first advance requested using the Twice Per Month frequency is scheduled for the beginning of the month:
-
4 Weeks – Every four weeks. This frequency can also be described as “every 28 days”. Each advance is scheduled 28 days after the date of the previous advance. For example, if the first advance is set up for 7/22/2020, the next occurs on 8/19/2020, followed by 9/16/2020, etc.
-
Monthly – Every month. Recurring advances are scheduled at one-month intervals. For example, if the first advance is scheduled for 12/15/2020, the next advance occurs one month later on 01/15/2021.
-
Month End – Last day of each month. Each recurring advance is set up for the end of each month (e.g. on 12/31/2020, 01/31/2021, etc.).
-
Bi-Monthly – Every two months. Each advance is scheduled two months after the previous advance. For example, if the first advance is set up for 12/15/2020, the next advance would be two months later on 02/15/2021.
-
Quarterly – Every quarter. A recurring advance is scheduled once every quarter or four times each year. For example, an advance on 12/15/2020 is followed three months later by an advance on 03/15/2021.
-
Semi-Annual – Every six months. A recurring advance is scheduled twice a year with one advance followed six months later by another (e.g., on 12/15/2020 and then on 06/15/2021).
-
Annually – Every year. Each advance is scheduled once a year. That is, an advance on 12/15/2020 is followed by another on 12/15/2021, etc.
