Company Set Up

If you have the Manage Company user right, you can click the Administration tab followed by the Company Set up navigation link to access the Company Set Up page. This page initially displays all setup data for your business or credit union. You can add new setup data or change the existing data. If your business has related subsidiary companies or credit unions, you can change the setup data defined for any subsidiary company/credit union.

You can perform the functions described in the following section to edit company setup data.

Editing Company Setup Data

  1. If your business or credit union has subsidiary companies, a Company (or Credit Union) dropdown list displays at the top of the page. To view setup data for another subsidiary company or credit union, select its name in the dropdown list.
  2. In the User Rights section, select the Allow Subusers with Manage Users Rights To Edit Their Own Profile check box to allow business users with the Manage Users user right to edit their own profile or user setup data as described in the Editing a User section.
  3. The ACH section displays if your business or credit union is enabled for ACH transactions (by an Administrator on the Business Online Banking online administration system). In this section, you can :
    1. Select the Automatically Generate Prenotes check box to allow a user to request this feature for an ACH transaction as described in the Adding ACH Transactions section. Prenotes are used to send test ACH data to the receiving financial institution before the actual live transaction.
    2. Enter the appropriate amounts in the following Transactions fields:
      • Type the dollar amount for the Maximum Deposit that may be specified for an ACH transaction. This amount cannot exceed the Daily ACH Credit Limit specified for the business or company using the online administration system.
      • Type the dollar amount for the Maximum Withdrawal that may be specified for an ACH transaction. This amount cannot exceed the Daily ACH Debit Limit specified for the company using the online administration system.
    3. Enter the appropriate amounts in the following Total ACH fields:
      • Type the dollar amount for the Maximum Deposit that may be specified for all the transactions in an ACH set. This amount cannot exceed the Daily ACH Credit Limit specified for the company using the online administration system.
      • Type the dollar amount for the Maximum Withdrawal that may be specified for all the transactions in an ACH set. This amount cannot exceed the Daily ACH Debit Limit specified for the company using the online administration system.
    4. The Approvals Required section lists the number of approvals required for each ACH transaction type enabled for your business or credit union on the online administration system. The default number of approvals for each type is zero (0). However, if your financial institution activated the setting to require two approvals (or Dual Control) for all ACH transactions, the number of approvals for each type is set to two (2) and cannot be changed. Otherwise, you can type 1 or 2 approvals for each ACH type (for example, PPD and CCD) as appropriate.
    5. Enter an email address in the Ach Release Email field. This allows a recipient to receive email notifications when ACH batches are released in Business Online Banking. If multiple batches are released during the day, multiple notifications will be generated. This feature supports multiple email addresses. If multiple addresses are entered, separate them by a semi-colon. Notifications will not be sent if this field is blank.
    6. Select the Allow Same Day Batches check box to allow a user to create a Same Day ACH batch.
    7. Enter a dollar limit in the Same Day Credit Limit and Same Day Debit Limit fields for Same Day ACH transactions. If these fields are left blank, the ACH Same Day dollar limit established for the financial institution applies.
  4. The Wire Transfers section displays if your business or credit union is enabled for wire transfers on the online administration system. In this section, you can change the default of zero (0) approvals required for each of the following fields:
    1. In the Wire Templates field, type 1 or 2 to require one or two approvals for each change (i.e., each addition, change, or deletion) to a wire template.
    2. In the Above Thresholds field, type 1 or 2 to require one or two approvals for each wire that exceeds the Template Threshold amount specified in the template used to create the wire.
    3. You can also type 1 or 2 in the All Wires field to require one or two approvals for all wires.
  5. The Dual Authorization section displays if two approvals are required to edit the company setup data. When this section displays, another business user with Manage Company user right must:
    1. Type his/her sign-on ID in the 2nd Person Sign-On ID field.
    2. Type his/her Password.
  6. Click Save to save all company setup data or Cancel to return to the Company Set Up page.
